Saw Inglourious Basterds last weekend...fucking GREAT!...The end section (the film's split into 5 pieces)is the wildest thing Ive seen onscreen in ages...great casting, great dialogue, and parts are really damn funny as well!...

SEE IT!!

also,it was really long so I got to make out with my girlie and still see plenty of it!.....

I Can Do Bad All By Myself. Great performances by Gladys Knight and Mary J. Blige.

I don't find them attractive, just confusing.

Grand film. Just see Mr.FF Fox too. The glories of half-term. Both excellent films for kids of all ages as they say and both with an hallicingenic surrealist edge that...just kept on giving!

Of recently seen movies, I can recommend Up

, An Education
,
Looking for Eric

and Moon.

(Though it's not quite as brilliant as some are saying.)

That's the last one me and my wife went to see. Really enjoyed it, not least because large parts of it were filmed round where I live and we spent most of the film nudging one another when somewhere we new appeared on screen blush

Trivia time regarding the scene where the main character played by Steve Evets first encounters Eric Cantona in his bedroom. Apparently Steve Evets had no idea that Eric Cantona was going to play himself in the film so when he turned around and saw EC standing there it was a complete shock. That look on his face was genuine surprise, something Ken Loach had wanted hence keeping him in the dark about Cantona being in the film.
